SHOKZ OpenRun Air 2 Bone Conduction Open-Ear Bluetooth Headphones, Ice Blue

Hear the Music. Stay Aware of Your World.

The SHOKZ OpenRun Air 2 is a lightweight pair of bone conduction headphones that keeps your ears open while delivering rich, balanced sound. At just 26.4 g, with IP67 water resistance, up to 10 hours of playback and Bluetooth 6.0, it is built for runners, gym regulars and anyone who wants all-day listening without anything sealed inside the ear canal.

Why It Stands Out

• Open-ear by design. Powered by Shokz Bone Conduction Technology, the audio reaches you without covering your ears, so you can keep an ear on the world around you.

• Lighter and smaller than the original OpenRun. Shokz states it is over 9% smaller, with a redesigned ear hook that follows the natural curve of the ear.

• A locked-in fit. A unibody frame with memory alloy and a forward-shifted center of gravity helps minimize bounce through every run, jump and turn.

• PremiumPitch 3.0 sound. An upgraded all-metal, dual-coil, dual-reed bone conduction driver aims for deep bass, smooth mids and detailed highs.

Key Features & Benefits

Comfort for Long Sessions

With nothing pressing into your ear canal, the open-ear design is meant to feel fresh and breathable even during intense workouts. The ergonomic ear hooks distribute pressure evenly, so you can wear them for hours.

Train in Any Weather

The IP67 rating means dust-resistant, water-resistant protection against sweat and rain. When you finish, you can rinse them with water and keep going. Not intended for swimming or underwater activities.

Battery That Keeps Up

• Up to 10 hours of playback, which Shokz states is 25% more than its predecessor.

• 5-minute quick charge adds up to 2 hours of listening.

• Water-resistant USB-C port. Make sure it is completely dry before charging.

Clearer Calls, Even When It Is Windy

A dual-microphone layout paired with AI-powered noise reduction is designed to keep your voice clear on calls while you move. Physical buttons let you switch tracks, manage calls and adjust volume without reaching for your phone.

Personalize Your Sound

The Shokz App offers 4 preset EQ modes and 2 custom modes, plus Find My Headphone, software updates, customizable button functions and MultiPoint pairing for switching between 2 devices. Bluetooth 6.0 provides a stable connection within about 33 ft (10 m).

Real-World Applications

• Running, gym workouts and outdoor training

• Commuting and walking when you want to stay aware of your surroundings

• Taking calls and listening to podcasts throughout the day

Who Is It For?

This model suits active listeners who value a secure, featherweight fit, weather resistance and awareness of their surroundings. It also appeals to anyone who finds in-ear designs uncomfortable over long periods.

What to Know Before Buying

• No noise control. Open-ear audio does not block outside sound, so it is not designed to isolate you in loud environments.

• Charging cable not included. The listing notes that, to reduce waste, a charging cable is not included.

• Stay safe outdoors. Keep the volume at a level that preserves situational awareness and follow all local traffic laws.

• Battery life varies. The 10-hour figure comes from Shokz lab testing, and real-world results depend on volume and usage.

Final Buying Perspective

If you want headphones that disappear on your head, shrug off sweat and rain, and let you stay connected to your surroundings, the OpenRun Air 2 in Ice Blue is a focused, well-specified choice from Shokz, the brand behind the OpenRun line.
