Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB Wireless Hi-Fi Speaker – Light Pearl

Big sound rarely arrives in a small, beautiful package. The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB is a compact wireless Hi-Fi speaker in a sculptural spherical design, shown here in Light Pearl, with 400 W of amplification and an 18 Hz–25 kHz frequency response.

In 60 seconds: this is a design-led streaming speaker for listeners who want powerful, detailed sound from one compact object. It connects over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, AirPlay, Google Cast and Spotify Connect, and it is built to look as good in a room as it sounds.

✨ Why It Stands Out

• An iconic spherical form. The Phantom shape and redesigned grille are made to diffuse sound well while serving as a sculptural centerpiece.

• Devialet ADH amplification. Devialet's signature amplification is designed to deliver precise, low-distortion sound, from quiet vocals to deep basslines.

• Compact footprint. At 157 × 219 × 168 mm (6.2 × 8.6 × 6.6 in) and 4.3 kg (9.5 lb), it fits on a shelf, console or sideboard.

• High-resolution processing. 32-bit / 96 kHz audio processing keeps fine detail intact.

• 18 Hz–25 kHz frequency response: a wide range from low bass to high-frequency detail.

• Aluminium-dome drivers: one full-range driver and two woofers work together in a compact enclosure.

Real-World Applications

• Everyday listening: stream playlists, albums and podcasts from your phone or music app with a few taps.

• Home theater setups: the listing highlights home theater use, and the optical input provides a wired connection from compatible sources.

• A true stereo pair: a single unit plays in mono, but two Phantom Ultimate 98 dB speakers can be paired in the Devialet app for stereo (101 dB SPL, 2 × 400 W).

• Design-forward spaces: an elegant Light Pearl finish that suits modern living rooms, studios and lounges.

Who Is It For?

• Design-conscious music lovers who want Hi-Fi performance without a rack of equipment.

• Apple and Google households that stream through AirPlay or Google Cast.

• Listeners with apartments or smaller rooms who still want powerful sound.

• Buyers who may start with one speaker and later add a second for stereo.

What to Know Before Buying

• One speaker outputs mono. Add a second unit of the same model for stereo.

• First-time setup requires the Devialet app on iOS or Android.

• Bluetooth supports SBC and AAC codecs. For the highest-quality playback, stream over Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

• The speaker is powered from an AC outlet (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz), so plan placement near power.

• Confirm current price, finish availability and delivery details with the merchant before ordering.

Final Buying Perspective

If you are comparing compact speakers, the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB makes a strong case. It combines a recognizable French design signature with serious amplification, wide-ranging streaming support and a footprint that works almost anywhere. The Light Pearl finish gives it a refined, gallery-like presence, and its pairing option lets you grow the system when you are ready.

For buyers who value how a speaker looks as much as how it sounds, this is a model worth a closer look.
